Performing on stage since age 6, Naledi has grown up with a wide repertoire of musical styles, including Soul, R&B, Pop, Funk and Rap. Yes, she can rap and sing! After graduating from Edinburgh College, Naledi has continued to work in various areas of the music industry, including live, teaching and in the studio.
She is the lead singer and songwriter of Mother All Mighty a 7 piece Neo Soul band from Edinburgh who perform original, soul influenced music. Mother All Mighty were recently selected for ‘track of the week’ on BBC Introducing Scotland with their recent single ‘MAM’ which is out now on Spotify. Catch their amazing live performance, commissioned by The Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival on YouTube. Previous projects include her solo pop single ‘Forever In The Rain’ and ‘The DarkSoul EP’, a hip-hop collaboration with DJ and producer Nasty P.
Today, Naledi is an in-demand session vocalist, providing her voice for a variety of commercial and private projects. She regularly gigs with her band, fronts a Motown function band and works as a full-time Piano teacher. She is passionate about writing and performing music as well as teaching the next generation of musicians.
